The data consists of annual expenditure for individual countries in eight technological categories (energy efficiency, fossil fuels, renewable energy sources, nuclear, hydrogen and fuel cells, other power and storage technologies, other cross-cutting technologies, and unallocated). Not all data can be found for all countries in every year. All figures are displayed in 2024USD using either purchasing power parity (PPP) or market exchange rate (EXR).

The table below shows totals for each of the selected countries and investment types for the selected timespan. It also always includes the sum for the Mission Innovation countries filtered to the same investment types and timespan.
